Scripture tells us that "without holiness, no one will see God." God is holy and he expects his people to be like him. Jesus sent his Holy Spirit to provide a way for his people to live without sinning. It is nothing we do, it is all God's doing in us. We just need to seek the experience and be available for God to work in our lives in this powerful way.
Spiritual Gifts and Personality
Do you know your spiritual gifts? Learn all about them and discover how God wants to use you in your local church setting. Holy Spirit has given our gifts in conjunction with our personalities, so a discovery of personality is important in the overall process. Knowing your gifts also gives you the freedom to say "no" to things which are not part of God's plan for you.
Inner Healing and Deliverance
We each carry unnecessary "baggage" in our lives which can be dealt with through Inner Healing and Deliverance. These hurts should not be there and God wants us free! While much can be taught in group sessions, this is best experienced one-on-one with a support team of people praying. These can be side sessions combined with one of the other subjects.
Prayer and Listening Prayer
"It's prayer or nothing," says Doug as he teaches about many different ways to pray and how to develop a closer relationship with God through prayer. Listening Prayer is a unique type of prayer that develops your connection to God through your imagination, which is one reason God created it in the first place. Learn how to be still and hear God speak to you.
Spiritual Warfare and Demonology
There truly is an invisible battle going on all around us. Most of the time, we don't see it, but it's there all the same and affects us in many ways. Doug teaches about spiritual warfare and also his well thought-out demonology. This provides a sound theological understanding for your group and gives practical ways to overcome the Enemy in our daily lives.
